Queen A Legendary band from the UK

Queen is a rock band formed by Freddie Mercury in the UK in 1970 and became popular during 1970s. The movie based on this band "Bohemian Rhapsody" was released in 2018 and became famous, so I think some of you have heard of them at least once. This time I would like to introduce Queen briefly along with my favorite songs.

First, let me introduce the members of Queen. Queen consists of four members. Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Decon, and Roger Taylor. Freddie Mercury is the vocalist and frontman of this band. His beautiful and powerful voice always makes me amazed. His voice is really charming but he is also good at playing piano. Personally his playing on "Somebody to Love" is my favorite. Brian May is the guitarlist of this band. His guitar skill is really good of course. Especially the sound of it is really unique so I like his playing. If you want to know what's unique, I recommend you to listen to "Keep Yourself Alive". John Decon is the bass guitarist of this band. He is a good bass guitarist but also a good engineer, so he often made and customized musical devices for band members. Also he is known as a good composer. He compoesd many songs when he was active and some of them became really popular. Roger Taylor is the drummer of this band. His drum technique is amazing but his voice is also characteristic because he can sing higher than Freddie. If you want to listen to his high voice, I recommened you to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody.

Keep yourself alive

Next, I would like to introduce my 3 favotite songs of Queen. The first one is "Keep Yourself Alive" released in 1973. This song was the first single they released but unfortunately this song was largely ignored upon its release and failed to chart. But personally the sound of the guitar in this song is really beautiful, especially solo part, so it's my favorite.

Somebody to love

The second favorite song is "Somebody to Love" released in 1976. I love every member's musical performance, but personally Freddie's piano performance and singing are my favorite point of this song. I highly recommend this song if you want to cheer yourself up.

Another one bites the dust

The third song I like is "Another One Bites the Dust"recorded on "The Game" released in 1980. My favorite point of this song is John Decon's bass guitar part. It's a really simple phrase but it's really cool, so I love it. Every instruments peformance is cool of course so I recommend you to listen to this song if you are looking for a badass song.
